Spring Rune Pendant

A sculptural sterling silver pendant with a hidden word: "vår", meaning spring in Norwegian.

The letters are intertwined into an abstract symbol inspired by runes, black metal logos and Scandinavian landscapes. From a distance, the design resembles a tangle of branches, but a closer look reveals the word concealed within its intricate shape.

The original model was sculpted by hand in wax and cast in solid sterling silver. A clasp-style bail allows the pendant to be attached to a necklace, bracelet or even a hoop earring.

Designed and finished by hand in my Oslo studio.
