Raw Aquamarine Crystal Ring

A natural raw aquamarine crystal held by sculptural sterling silver branches, like a fragment of pale blue ice caught in a thicket.

The organic ring band was originally sculpted by hand in wax and cast in recycled sterling silver. The setting is individually shaped around the crystal, preserving its natural form, irregular edges and inclusions.

Dark oxidation enhances the texture of the silver branches and creates a beautiful contrast with the translucent blue gemstone.

The ring will be made with the natural, untreated aquamarine. The finished ring pictured is an example of the design.

Each ring is made to order and finished by hand in my Oslo studio.
