Datura Seed Pod Brooch

A sculptural sterling silver brooch inspired by the spiky seed pod of the datura plant. Its intricate openwork structure resembles a tiny alien organism, with sharp silver thorns radiating from a rounded, cellular form.

The brooch is cast in solid sterling silver and finished with dark oxidation and polished highlights to emphasize its unusual texture.

Wear it as a single statement piece or combine several brooches on a jacket or T-shirt, like metallic burrs caught in the fabric.

Each brooch is individually finished by hand in my Oslo studio.

Please note that the spikes are intentionally pointed, so the brooch is best worn on sturdy fabrics rather than delicate knits.
